SPRING! SPRING! SPRING!

Well as we drove back home from Kelowna last sunday evening the sun was setting, cherry blossoms were out, green shoots were sprouting out of the ground and i said to myself....spring is FINALLY here! And you know it is this week has been amazing sun and no rain! Which is the most important part. So i am not sure if you can tell but i am excited. We had a good weekend in Kelowna, a little 50th anniversary, friends, family, sister sarah modeling her grad dress! Making me feel quite old and young at the same time. Its beautiful by the way and she is beautiful in it....as you can see in the picture. We also got to see Shay and Lindsey's new home in Westbank...with the whole family there as well helping them out painting and cleaning....its going to be a great home. So audrey has made it to the next level of pushing herself up when on her belly....so that has made my day!

AUDREY UPDATE!

So i have determined that Baby Wise is the greatest! Audrey is sleeping through the night! She has been for a while but it still amazes me that she can do that so well so young...for all of you unbelievers out there...just so you know there was no forcing...she did it all on her own. I was a bit skeptic myself at one point but Audrey has proved me wrong. So needless to say I think she is amazing and have fears of having another...since it might not be as great (by the way we are not thinking of having another anytime soon). She is smiling tons but not rolling or doing much else yet. So that is the current audrey update....Its officailly spring only i am not seeing any evidence of that yet...still WAITING!! Still FREEZING and RAINING! So i have decided that this mom thing is a lot better that i once thought it would be. I have had time to finally organize and print my pictures from the last 4 years...i am making a book of audrey's first year for her...i still have plans to paint (no i haven't started any yet). I have plenty of projects to keep my busy...Tony is busy as usual...doing rock and getting soaked and hating the winter months! We also sold our house we built. For those of you who don't know we built a spec house with a partner and it has sold...so who knows we might even buy our own house this year! Although we are enjoying where we are living right now. We live on 30 acres and it takes forever to get anywhere but its beautiful....

First blog entry....its kindof nerve racking...knowing that people are going to be reading what i write. Well i have fully developed into motherhood...full blown. Audrey is 3 months and 1 day old and just getting cuter and cuter. Its funny how nothing really changes yet everything does, the way you view family, friends, live all has a different twist to it. I have definetly decided through this that in general people work way too much. We have too high a standard of living. I am caught in the middle though because i am used to the standard of living yet i want a more simple one at the same time. Tony is working hard as usual and i am dying for spring to arrive so that i can wear sandles again! So for those that are visiting the 80's welcome! I will try to make it as enjoyable as possible every time you visit!
